Rockport - May days

It’s been a lovely chilled weekend in Rockport, with a visit to one of our favorite parks - Coolidge Reservation beside Magnolia and just north of Manchester by the Sea. It is a beautiful spot, lush and green with all the rain we’ve had. And it has particular special memories for me. I even managed to find a very quiet spot to paint Kettle Cove.

And I even squeezed in an early morning paddle and a few hours of reading at the beach on Sunday - I defintley got the best part of the day.

Look at these colours … no filter or enhancment. Beautiful !

And I continues to work on last weeks painting, adding to the sky and the grasses. It’s my first big painting since 2018. I’m quite pleased with it, even if I say so myself …
