10-12 “ of fresh snow means one thing to me … XC skiing . That’s more XC skiing in one month than the last five years. No complaints from me!

I was actually out with the girls yesterday for drinks and dinner in Cambridge, and decided to skip the cocktails so I could drive back to Rockport ahead of the storm knowing I would be out on my skis today!!

It was a lovely evening and it’s been a very long time since we have all been together. More to come no doubt. And I would highly recommend Bar Enza … great vibe, very cosy, good meal and the girls enjoyed their drinks!

The snowy white photos at Appleton Farms are a little less cosy but it was very beautiful. The conditions were perfect … just below freezing, very little wind and fresh snow. And I remembered to take the tangerines thankfully - which are a game changer when XC skiing for a couple hours.

Enjoy the pictures.

And the geese are back! There is something about these fields at Appleton Farms. Different field, same farm and more geese !
