Rockport with Leith, Glen and Clyde

Leith, Glen and their lovely little pup Clyde, drove the distance from Tremblant, Quebec, on Thursday for a much anticipated Rockport weekend. In typical fashion it was very chilled, and included many walks, dips in the cooling east coast waters, and catch ups on my terrace over good food and wine.

Leith and I go back to my Dal days, where we met in 1st year halls of residence, eventually rented our first apartment together in 3rd year and then travelled to East Africa in 1989 (yup, you read that correctly - with no cell phones or bottle water!). I can easily say we have a lot of history between us.

Our ventures included multiple dips at the local beaches, a visit to one of my very favorite spots to view a small art show and take in another spectacular sunset off Conomo Point.

Breakfast and a gorgeous morning walk and swim at Crane Estate.

We enjoyed a fun New Orleans ensemble at the very special Shalin Lui music venue.
